An American citizen was found dead at an Irish luxury hotel and another American citizen is under arrest, according to Irish police.
The Irish national police and security service, the Garda Siochana, told USA TODAY the deceased American citizen was a man in his 60’s. He was discovered unconscious on a bathroom floor inside the Ballyfin Demesne Hotel in County Laois on Tuesday evening and was later pronounced dead.
The bathroom where the American man was discovered is in a leisure area of the upscale hotel, which located about 65 miles southwest of Dublin.
ABC News reported the two men had been traveling together and Irish authorities are not looking for any further suspects in the case.
